During the peak period of winter power consumption, voltage instability may occur under certain circumstances. At this time, it depends on whether household appliances can carry it. If the voltage is unstable in use, the electrical appliances can not withstand the change of this voltage, it is very likely that there will be short circuit or fault. Take air conditioning for example. What should we do if the voltage is unstable?
So, if the use of air conditioning and encountered voltage instability, what should we do?
1. Compressor motor starting is difficult.
When the main control switch is turned to the refrigeration gear, attention should be paid to whether the compressor has been started into operation. If it can't start, it should shut down immediately. If it can't start again, refrigeration should be suspended until the voltage rises. Never leave without permission when the main control switch turns to the refrigeration gear, because the compressor overload protector can be switched on and off frequently for a long time. In case of ignition of its contacts, the high current may burn through the compressor motor line set.
At the instant of air conditioner start-up, because the starting current is too large, the indicator of ammeter can be hit to the end instantaneously, and then return to the normal working current value of air conditioner (you can see the product instructions). For example, the normal working current of the air conditioner with 3480W refrigeration capacity (3000kcal/h) is 7.5A. If at the moment of starting, the indicator of the ammeter hits the bottom, then the indicator points back to 1A, indicating that the compressor is not working, while the current value of 1A only indicates that the wind turbine is working. At this time, the main control switch is used to cut off the compressor circuit.
2. Compressor operation is unstable. Voltage fluctuation in the power grid will make the compressor run abnormally and sometimes stop automatically. In this case, the user uses the main control switch to cut off the compressor circuit, in order to prevent burning down the compressor motor line set.
